It’s hard not to fall in love with the pods, but when the weather is as glorious as it was in May, our job is even easier! Long may the sunshine continue!

Many of you admire our deer sculptures around the pod site! I wonder what the deer think of them!

MEET THE TEAM: Meg and Zack (aka @willooffgrid)

Before arriving at Island Pods Meg and Zack spent 2 years travelling around Australia and working in campsites all over, from Outback Queensland to busy towns. Before their Australian adventures Meg worked as cabin crew for an airline, where she found her love for travel, and Zack was an electrician. Landing here on Mull for their next adventure, the unstoppable duo have taken on Island Pods and are doing the best job! They not only respond to all enquiries and ensure all turnovers and laundry are complete, but also keep the lawns mowed, keep up with maintenance, look after the bikes and have recently been producing content for our instagram! They’re smashing it out the park! For those keen to follow along with their adventures, make sure to give them a follow!

Tobermory is the small, but mighty, capital town of our Island. Famous for its colourful houses, the town sits looking across to the Mainland. Find an array of shops from gift shops, to the bakery, the chocolate shop and the most delicious Isle of Mull ice cream!

Wildlife is such a pull to Mull and is often the focus of time spent here. So we are so glad you can see lots of wildlife right from your pod’s doorstep!

Looks like we might not be able to get out on the mower as much as we have been, but it still remains the best seat in the house! @willooffgrid
