Glenforsa Cafe & Farm Shop
Glenforsa Cafe and Farm Shop opened its doors in Spring 2024 and is situated on the banks of the beautiful River Forsa. Join us for exciting food, delicious coffee, or an evening of drinks and wood-fired pizzas.

Am Birlinn
Since opening in 2009, Am Birlinn has quickly built a reputation as one of the best restaurants on the Isle of Mull. They serve the freshest local produce in a warm, relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The restaurant is housed in a contemporary wooden building which provides a fantastic dining experience. The atmosphere is airy, light and cosy all at the same time.

Ar Bòrd
A set menu which is constantly changing but is guaranteed to feature the best local produce. Typically this may include local shellfish, wild venison smoked in house, Isle of Gigha halibut, meat from neighbouring farms and leaves and herbs foraged from the local area.
Ar Bòrd is a new restaurant run by Iain and Joyce who have just opened up this year. They are open Wednesday to Sunday during the high season. At this point they do not have an Alcohol License so don’t forget to Bring Your Own.
Fish & Chips
The Creel Seafood Bar
The Creel is a seafood bar located by the ferry terminal at Fionnphort. The Creel serves fresh seafood, most of which is caught by the owner, (Alex Cameron’s husband Andrew) or brought in by local divers and suppliers. Not your average fish and chip shop, The Creel occasionally holds live music nights, complete with beer, cocktails, wine, cider and of course – the best fresh seafood.
Fisherman’s Pier
The fisherman’s Pier Fish and Chip van is a small family run business based in Tobermory, sourcing their fish and shellfish from the boats as they return each afternoon. They offer the classics alongside deep-fried haggis, Sgriob-ruadh smoked sausage and battered scallops.

Inverlussa Mussels
Voted ‘Best Mussel Producer in Scotland’ on several occasions – Inverlussa mussels produce award winning rope grown mussels in Grade A waters in the beautiful Loch Spelve.
Available for purchase from their ‘Mussel Honesty Box’ in 2kg and 5kg bags during their harvesting season.


Lochbuie Larder at The Old Post Office
Delicious homemade ‘ready meals’ delivered to your door. Using their own local beef, venison, pork, lamb and also when possible, locally grown fruit and veg. This is a pre-order service so make sure to give them a call to put in your order. You can either collect your order at The Old Post Office or opt for the delivery option.
The Old Post Office also serves as a café during the summer season, serving freshly made snacks, lunches and teas.

Mull Butchers
Traditional butchery available to collect directly from the abattoir north of Craignure. As well as their meat selection boxes, Mull Butchers sell a variety of local meats and cuts including lamb, pork and beef. We recommend picking up burgers and sausages to enjoy using the BBQ included with your Pod.

Robin’s Boat Ice-cream
Positioned in a great location, Robins Boat is on the doorstep of Calgary Beach. Serving local ‘Isle of Mull Ice-cream’ Robin’s boat offers a range of flavours including the classic favourites as well as exciting twists. No visit to Calgary would be complete without one!


The Boathouse – Ulva
The focus here is on home cooking, simple ingredients, and local produce that changes with the seasons. The bread is homemade, crabs and prawns are creel-caught in Ulva’s waters, and the oysters grow on the island’s shores.
To reach The Boathouse you must first take a short trip to Ulva on the privately owned foot passenger ferry (unless you brought your own boat of course!) Ferry times, current news about the ferry and how to contact the ferryman can be found on The Ulva Ferry Facebook page.
Top tip – order the Fisherman’s Catch sharing board for a selection of all the good things to eat.

The Coffee Pot
Centrally located in Salen on the Isle of Mull The Coffee Pot is the perfect place to stop off whilst exploring the island.
They serve up homemade cakes, which are baked on the premises, together with soup and savouries as well as a daily specials board.
The Galleon, Tobermory
The Galleon is a family run bistro in Tobermory. Fast becoming a destination, Chef Martin Cahill is passionate about producing dishes that showcase exactly what Mull has to offer. The food is a celebration of quality produce gathered from the magnificent provender of Scotland.
Lobster, crab, hand-dived scallops and fish are often caught only hours before appearing on your dinner plate. Presentation is beautiful and the atmosphere extremely welcoming. One not to miss!

The Glass Barn
Owned by Isle of Mull Cheese – dairy farm and cheese makers of award winning Isle of Mull Cheddar and Hebridean Blue cheese, the Glass Barn is must visit on Mull. The building itself is a beautiful glass greenhouse with grape vines growing over the interior. Serving a selection of cakes, lunches and tasting boards bursting with local produce.
After lunch, take a self-guided tour around the farm and cheese factory. Tour the farm, watch the cows being milked and the cheese being made, and don’t forget to purchase some cheese to take away from their on site farm shop.


Tobermory Fish Co
Situated in the beautiful town of Tobermory, The Tobermory Fish Company was founded in 1971 by Hugh and Marjorie Goldie and is, today, an award winning, small, family-run business with a strong family and island heritage passed through three generations. For nearly 50 years the company has been producing foods of the highest quality, using fish and shellfish from the very best local and Scottish suppliers.
